Solna City's contact center is the workplace for you who want to make a difference in people's everyday lives.

The contact center is the first point of entry to Solna City, and we meet citizens both via phone, email, and in person at the city hall reception.

Like Solna City, the contact center needs to constantly evolve to meet the needs and expectations of residents and businesses. Therefore, we are now looking to grow with two more colleagues.

What does the job entail?

We work on behalf of the city's administrations and aim to relieve them by answering the questions that citizens and businesses have for the city.

At the contact center, we value a good service spirit, engagement, and flexibility to create job satisfaction and achieve results. You should enjoy working in a team, have your own drive, and be unpretentious.

The role requires a high level of service and solution focus. You will work daily with various contacts, both by phone and email, as well as in many different operational systems.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is engaged and builds trust in their work and enjoys working with people. You should enjoy working in a team, have your own drive, and be unpretentious.

To succeed in this role, general knowledge and a strong interest in problem-solving are important. You are an important ambassador for Solna with the ability to process and handle a lot of information. You are well-informed and up to date with the latest information, which you can summarize simply, whether in Swedish or English. Additional language skills are an advantage, especially Finnish.

You will face new questions, meetings, and challenges daily that require attentiveness and a relationship-building approach. You are proactive, curious, solution-oriented, and have good judgment and a positive attitude. You are careful to ensure that the information you provide is accurate and work in a structured manner with clear routines.

Meritorious for the position are:

• Relevant higher education, such as political science or communication.
• Experience working in a municipality or government agency.
• Experience working in a contact center for a municipality or other government agency or equivalent service work.
• Experience working in a reception or equivalent service work.
• Proficiency in the Finnish language, both spoken and written.

We will place great emphasis on personal qualities in this recruitment.

We offer two permanent positions with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. We warmly welcome your application by Sunday, January 18.
